1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WeRunHoops you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Platform Description

WeRunHoops connects players looking for pickup basketball games. We provide a space for users to post and find games — we do not organize, supervise, or manage any games listed on the platform.

3. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

By using WeRunHoops you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

• Participation in basketball and physical activity carries inherent risk of injury including serious injury or death.
• WeRunHoops Inc., its founders, employees, and affiliates are NOT liable for any injury, accident, loss, or damage arising from games found or organized through our platform.
• You participate in all games at your own risk and are solely responsible for your physical condition and safety.
• You are responsible for ensuring that the location where you play is safe and appropriate.
• We strongly recommend appropriate footwear, warm-up routines, and consulting a doctor if you have any health concerns before playing.

4. User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Players under 18 require parental consent to participate. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

5. User Conduct

Users must not post false or misleading game information, harass or threaten other users, use the platform for any illegal purpose, or post offensive or inappropriate content. We reserve the right to remove any user or content that violates these terms.

6. Organizer Responsibilities

Game organizers are responsible for providing accurate game information, communicating changes or cancellations to players, ensuring the game location is safe and legally accessible, and behaving respectfully toward all players.

7. Privacy

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the platform. We do not sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Users agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration rather than litigation.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

• We never store your precise location permanently

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to operate WeRunHoops — matching players to games, sending notifications, and improving the service.
